Privacy Policy

• Google Analytics is the only tracking on this site, and it does not load until you click Accept. Decline and nothing loads. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, that is treated as a decline and you will not be asked.
• Nothing on this site is sold, rented, or shared with data brokers, advertisers, or other shops. There is nothing to sell and no interest in selling it.
• Files and intake forms are emailed to a Google Workspace inbox and purged on a 30 to 60 day cycle.
• Vehicle owner information arrives from repair shops. It is used to write the estimate and for nothing else.
• You can change your cookie choice at any time from the link in the footer of every page.

The upload form collects your shop name, your name, email, phone, and state, along with vehicle and claim information: VIN, year, make, model, claim number, carrier, damage type, and inspection conditions. Plus whatever photos, PDFs, or estimate exports you attach, and any notes you write.

That submission is emailed to Admin@stormrsolutions.com, which is Google Workspace. It is stored on Google's servers rather than ours, and it is purged on a 30 to 60 day cycle. Uploaded files pass through this site's server on the way to that inbox.

The same information is used to create your job in the client portal if you have one, and the portal keeps a record of the job so you can see its status and history.

It is used to write your estimate, to talk to you about it, and to defend it with the appraiser if a line gets challenged. It is not used for anything else.

Files arrive containing information about people who are not our customers. A vehicle owner's name may be on a claim document, and a VIN identifies a specific vehicle. That information comes from the repair shop, which holds the relationship with the owner.

We handle it on the shop's behalf and for the single purpose of writing and defending that estimate. It is never sold, never shared with other shops, and never used to contact the owner directly. Retention follows the same 30 to 60 day cycle as everything else.

If you are a vehicle owner and want to know whether we hold anything about your claim, write to Admin@stormrsolutions.com. Start with your repair shop as well, since they are the ones who sent it.

Four categories, and no others:

• Google. Email and file storage through Google Workspace. Analytics, if you accepted.
• The estimating platforms. Files are written inside your own CCC ONE or Mitchell account, under your shop name, which means the work product lives in your system and not ours.
• The web host. Server logs, which record IP addresses and requested pages as a normal function of running a website.
• The carrier or appraiser, when defending a line on your file, and only what that conversation requires.

No data brokers. No advertising networks. No analytics vendor other than Google. Nothing is sold or licensed to anyone.

Regardless of what state you are in, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Write to Admin@stormrsolutions.com and you will get an answer within 45 days, usually much sooner. There is no charge and no form to fill out.

The one limit: if a file is still open, or if we are mid-argument with a carrier over a line on your estimate, we may need to keep it until that is finished.

Texas residents. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act generally exempts small businesses as defined by the Small Business Administration, which this one is. The Act's one requirement that reaches small businesses is consent before selling sensitive data, and we do not sell data of any kind. We honor the rights above as a matter of practice rather than obligation.

California residents. This business falls well below every CCPA and CPRA threshold. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Global Privacy Control is honored as described above. We honor the rights above regardless of whether the statute requires it.

Visitors from outside the United States. This is a US business serving US repair shops, and any data you send is processed in the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK and want your data removed, write to the address above and it will be done.

It will not claim we encrypt everything end to end, run penetration tests, or maintain a security operations center. This is one person with a Google Workspace account and a web host. Files move over HTTPS, the portal requires a login, and access is limited to one person because there is only one person. That is the honest description.

It will not promise indefinite retention or indefinite deletion. The 30 to 60 day purge is a real cycle, not a policy written to sound good, and it is the reason we ask shops to keep their own copies of anything they need long term.

This site is for repair shop operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top changes with it. Cookie choices are not carried over silently into new categories of tracking. If something new gets added that tracks you, you will be asked again.
